Description
As a performer or public persona conducting all or most of your business online, part of your day-to-day routine will likely include interacting with individuals over messages, comments, and for some, live broadcasts. In this real-time exercise, a group of community Volunteers will be posed with different scenarios that they may commonly encounter online as a performer, and will be asked to convey how they’d typically communicate to steer them through to an end-result or conclusion. Our panel of Peer Guides will be present to lend their feedback while offering their own supportive tips or insights on similar experiences that they’ve encountered. This exercise is intended to be a safe and supportive way to demonstrate how clear and intentional communication plays a role in the functioning of our business and day-to-day lives. It will give attendees real-time insights and perspectives on how to better communicate with third-parties in order to achieve a positive end-result.
