It’s Thursday, y’all. So, of course that means it’s Throwback Thursday! Let’s throw it back to the Model Appreciation Party we had in Vegas at the Planet Hollywood Hotel.

It was so great to see so many different faces that I’ve seen throughout the years on Streamate, but never had the pleasure of meeting. I remember saying hello to someone by their performer name, which they use on Streamate, and their response was, “Hello! But I’m curious…How do you know who I am?” I was quite surprised, but then I realized that hey, maybe all cam companies AREN’T as cool as Streamate. Maybe they don’t know their models well like most of us at Streamate do. I guess it never occurred to me that a model would think it was strange for me to know who she was on my own (off the website) and it never occurred to her that someone who works for Streamate would know who cams for them. It was interesting, for sure, but definitely validating as to why having parties where we can meet our Streamate family is important. We’re not just a place you work for – we’re real people who love what we do and love what you do. This party showed us all how much fun it is when everyone can just get to together and party it up.
